Rett Robertson

About Me

I am Rett Robertson, a Software Engineer and Game Developer based in Logan, Utah. By day I contribute as a Software Engineer at Space Dynamics Laboratory; by night (and many early mornings) I explore game mechanics, computer graphics, and interactive systems. I enjoy breaking complex problems into approachable steps and building experiences that feel smooth and responsive.

My personal and open-source projects span several languages and domains: C# (Baba is You style clone, Sudoku solver, Breakout), C++ (raylib Pong), JavaScript (graphics and mini‑games), and Python/Django (fintech experimentation and small ML prototypes). These projects let me iterate quickly on algorithms, rendering techniques, input handling, and UI polish while maintaining clean, readable code. I value performance, clarity, and learning something new with each build.

Current interests include GPU/graphics pipelines, animation timing, game feel, and bridging gameplay with data visualization. I am always open to discussing collaboration, game ideas, or software engineering challenges—reach out via email or connect through my repositories below.
